New Zealand athletes are back in action after a magic hour on Thursday saw our rowers bag three medals.

Aotearoa's fastest-ever female 100m sprinter Zoe Hobbs is set to make her Olympic Games debut, with the heats on Friday night.

If Hobbs makes the 100m final, she will be the first New Zealander to do so in 100 years.

Meanwhile, rowers Jackie Kiddle and Shannon Cox are aiming to add to New Zealand's medal haul in the women's lightweight double sculls final, and trampolinist Dylan Schmidt will be aiming for back-to-back medals after bagging bronze at Tokyo 2020.
