Joubert to referee World Cup final

South African referee Craig Joubert will take charge of his first Rugby World Cup final at Eden Park on Sunday.

Joubert was named by the International Rugby Board on Monday to officiate the game between the All Blacks and France.

He also took charge of the All Blacks-Australia semi-final on Sunday night.

The assistant referees will be Alain Rolland of Ireland, who refereed the 2007 final, and Nigel Owens from Wales.

Guilio de Santis of Italy will be the Television Match Official, rounding out a highly-experienced match official team.

Wayne Barnes will take charge of the Bronze Final between Australia and Wales at Eden Park on Friday night.
