Fruit growers in parts of Hawke's Bay were hit by hail storms this week.
The thunder storms on Tuesday afternoon brought hail as well as rain.
There have been reports of significant damage to grape, stonefruit and apple orchards from one storm that cut a path from the edge of Twyford to Haumoana.
