New Zealand shearing legend David Fagan has scored a stunning double, winning a 12th Royal Welsh Open title and helping New Zealand to another win over Wales.
Fagan, 52, who first won the Royal Welsh Open in 1988, took the open title on points.
Then he and fellow New Zealand shearer Matt Smith, standing in for an injured John Kirkpatrick, won the third test against the Welsh team, putting the kiwis 2-1 ahead in the series, with a final test to go.
