Rowing New Zealand says it will be severely restricting world champion Mahe Drysdale's bike riding after his latest crash in Germany.
Drysdale was on a training ride in Munich when he was knocked off his bike at a roundabout.
He's suffered a shoulder injury which is expected to keep him off the water for four days, so he'll miss this weekend's World Cup regatta in Munich, the final buildup event to the London Olympics.
Drysdale was involved in a similar incident ahead of last year's world champs in Slovenia before going on to win the world title, but that's of little comfort to Rowing NZ chief executive Simon Peterson.
