The COAS International squash tournament is the first non-cricket sports event to suffer from the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team, with governing body the Professional Squash Association announcing it is postponing it indefinitely.
The tournament, which has attracted many of the world's top players over the past six years, was due to take place in Islamabad in April in a country where the sport has produced some of the greatest ever players.
But the PSA says while regretting their decision, it was impossible to hold it as planned following the attack in Lahore on the Sri Lankan cricketers.
