The New Zealand tennis players Marina Erakovic and Marcus Daniell have been knocked out of Wimbledon.
In his debut at the grand slam, Marcus Daniell and Brazilian partner Marcelo Demoliner were beaten in the third round by Jan Erlich (Israel) and Philipp Petzschner (Germany) 3-6 6-4 3-6 3-6 in two hours 41 minutes.
Marina Erakovic and Brit partner Heather Watson lost their second round doubles contest to the Spanish 16th seeded pair of Anabel Medina Garrigues and Aranxta Parra Santonja 6-7 6-3 6-0 in one hour 38.
New Zealand's Artem Sitak and American doubles partner Nicholas Monroe also lost their second round match to Jamie Murray (Britain) and John Peers (Australia) 7-5 4-6 4-6 7-6 6-4 in just over three hours.
But Sitak returned to the court for his second round mixed doubles match with Russian born Australian partner Anastasia Rodionova.
The pair overcame Jean-Julien Rojer (Netherlands) and Anna-Lena Groenefeld (Germany) 6-4 6-7 6-3.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that New Zealander Mike Venus and Croatian partner Mate Pavic will play the top seeded pair of Bob and Mike Bryan in their third round doubles match next week.
