Lydia Ko says her latest accolade is added motivation to bring home gold at this year's Rio Olympics.

Ko, who's in New Zealand this week for the national golf open in Christchurch, has won the Lonsdale Cup which is awarded annually to the athlete or team who made the most outstanding contribution to Olympic or Commonwealth sport.
The world number one said it's an honour to win such a prestigious award.
"It's something that I'm really proud of expecially because the Olympics is a huge goal of mine.
"It gives me more confidence about the Olympics and the proud feeling to get to represent New Zealand," Ko said.
The 18-year-old said winning gold at Rio is more important than winning a major this year.
"To represent your country at such an international stage, I think it's going to be a pretty special week.
"Even on the LPGA (Tour) there's so much excitement and vibe around so I think we're all super excited," Ko said.
The New Zealand Open starts on Friday.
