Canterbury have scored a come-from-behind 27-26 victory over Manawatu in Palmerston North in the Provincial Rugby Championship.
Manawatu scored three first-half tries to lead 19-8 at the break, then extended that to 26-8 with their bonus point try.
However Manawatu lost a couple of key players to injury in the second half and had a player sin-binned, while the halfback Andy Ellis came on for the defending champions who then ran in three tries of their own to snatch the win.
Canterbury drew their first match against Hawke's Bay, while Manawatu were beaten by Southland.
Tonight Taranaki host Tasman and Hawke's Bay host Bay of Plenty.
