The New Zealand tennis player Marcus Daniell has been elected as a new member on the ATP Player Council.

Also elected were Frenchman Gilles Simon and Spaniard Pablo Andujar.
Daniell was elected as a doubles specialist.
The Masteron born 31 year old has won five doubles titles and hit a career high ranking of 34 in 2018.
The elections were confirmed a day after world number one Novak Djokovic pulled out of the elections.
Djokovic recently withdrew his nomination for the council, the governing body for men's tennis, citing "conflict of interest" because of his role in the Professional Tennis Players' Association.
The Serb set up the breakaway PTPA on the eve of the US Open in September after he resigned as the head of the player council.
Last month, Djokovic confirmed he had been nominated for the council election by his fellow professionals.
He accepted, but he was forced to withdraw after a new ATP deemed his role at the PTPA a conflict of interest.
Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Andy Murray, Felix Auger-Aliassime, John Millman, Kevin Anderson and Bruno Soares have been retained for the term through June 2022, the ATP also confirmed.
The new ATP Player Council will have its first meeting in the new year, where the President and Vice President will be elected.
