The White Ferns ended their World Cup campaign with an emphatic 71-run win over Pakistan at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
Brilliant performances from Suzie Bates and Manawatu seamer Hannah Rowe propelled the New Zealand side to its third win of the tournament.
White Ferns opener Bates' manificent knock of 126 runs set up the New Zealand total of 265.
With the stunning individual batting performance, Bates became the first New Zealand woman to reach 5000 one day international runs and the fourth woman in the international game to achieve the significant milestone.
Bates said she will reflect on the achievement with her team-mates.
"It's really special. I'm sure there are some pretty great names in the 5000 club," Bates said.
"Every game you turn up and you just want to play your role for the team. It hasn't quite worked out that way this tournament."
"We've had a long week talking about what it means to play for New Zealand. To go out there and score some runs and play with some of my friends was really nice."
Rowe claimed claimed career-best figures of five for 55, including two wickets in one over in her destructive second spell.
The win capped a disappointing tournament for the hosts with the White Ferns failing to progress to the knockout stage.
