Hanging by a thread to make the cut for the Finals Series, the Tactix returned from three straight losses with the dominant nine-goal win.

The second quarter tipped the weight of possession in the Tactix's favour as they led 35-34 by the half-time break.

The movement and timing of Tactix sharp shooter Aliyah Dunn also proved a prosperous option. In her MVP performance Dunn converted 39 of her 40 shots at goal, while midcourter Kimiora Poi another stellar performer for the home side with 21 goal assists, four gains and four deflections.

Tactix coach Marianne Delaney-Hoshek gave her bench players a run in the final stanza with the result in the bag.

Silver Ferns shooter Ameliaranne Ekenasio shot an 100 percent match for the losing side.
