New CEO for New Zealand Football

The newly appointed chief executive of New Zealand Football says the recruitment process for a new All Whites coach won't begin until a review of the All Whites' failed World Cup campaign is completed.

Englishman Andy Martin, who has spent the past four years as the chief executive of the London Irish rugby club, has been appointed to the role and will take up the position in February.

The All Whites are currently without a coach following the departure of Ricki Herbert in the wake of the All Whites loss to Mexico in the World Cup qualifying playoffs.

Miller says he wants to see the findings of the report, what went well and what didn't before undertaking the recruitment process.
