In tour news, Detroit rapper Danny Brown has announced that he will make his return to New Zealand this April.
Last here in 2014 as part of the line-up for Laneway Festival, Brown is said to be working on his fourth studio album and, weirdly, a “Dr. Seuss-y” children’s book written for his 13-year-old daughter. Speaking to Triple J recently, he said that it was about helping boost children’s confidence about their body image.
“You know how black women do so much – process their hair, change their eye color? It's really about a little girl who does all these things to herself and changes herself, and she realises she's just better off the way she is.”
Tickets for his show are on sale 1pm Tuesday February 9 with a My Live Nation pre-sale available from 1pm Monday February 8 until 1pm Tuesday February 9.
