Five people have been arrested in Feilding on charged relating to aggravated robbery, burglary and unlawful taking of motor vehicles.
Manawatū Police have had an increased presense in the town lately, Manawatū area commander Inspector Ross Grantham said.
Those charged were aged between 16 and 25.
"Everyone has the right to feel safe in their community and we take a no-nonsense approach to offending that threatens that."
Grantham encouraged people to keep an eye out for suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods.
