A US woman who met Hillary Clinton during a hike told her she was so proud to have taken her daughter with her to cast a vote in her favour.
In a widely shared Facebook post, Margot Gerster said she was out walking with her daughter in a forest area in Chappaqua, near New York City, when she spotted Hillary and Bill Clinton walking their dog.
It was the first time Mrs Clinton has been spotted since her emotional concession speech.
Ms Gerster said she had been feeling heartbroken since the presidential election, in which Mrs Clinton was defeated by Republican nominee Donald Trump.
But one of her proudest moments had taking her daughter with her to vote for Mrs Clinton, she said.
"Now I'm not one for signs, but I think I'll definitely take this one. So proud."
