Prince William, the Prince of Wales, has taken part in a dawn service at Wellington Arch at Hyde Park in London to mark Anzac Day and honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have died in conflict.
* As it happened: Anzac Day in New Zealand 2023.
Anzac Day has been observed in London since King George V attended the first service at Westminster Abbey in 1916 a year after the Gallipoli landings.
The prince laid a wreath and joined hundreds of others marking the 108th anniversary of the World War I conflict.
He has frequently commemorated Anzac Day at services in Britain.
Remembering Australian and New Zealand soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
