Ahh my Dame, you've done it again!

Dame Lisa Carrington has claimed her second gold medal of the Paris Olympics, and the 7th of her Olympic career, winning the K2 500m final alongside team mate Alicia Hoskin.

It was also Hoskin's second gold of the Games, having been part of the victorious K4 500m a day earlier.

At the track and field, Maddi Wesche made a personal best throw to claim the silver medal in a thrilling shot put final.

And at the golf, Lydia Ko is well poised in a tie for the lead heading into the final round.
