Ellesse Andrews and Ally Wollaston secured gold and bronze on the last day of the Paris Olympics to sew up New Zealand's best ever effort at the Olympics.

New Zealand ended with 10 gold medals, a new record surpassing the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.

And their 20 total medals was equal with the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, but with more gold in the mix.
