An RNZ midday news bulletin aired on Wednesday 1 May used incorrect phrasing on the introduction to an item regarding school lunches.
It incorrectly stated: "The free school lunches programme looks set to be given one more year of funding for now.
"It's a time-limited approach to funding that the government has spent months criticising Labour over."
Later in the same bulletin, RNZ made a correction: "The the free school lunches programme looks set to be allocated time-limited funding by the Coalition.
"There is no time frame set for funding yet."
