A 23-year-old woman who aided a man accused of a fatal shooting in central Auckland has pleaded guilty to charges of being an accessory after the fact.

Sione Tuuholoaki was shot on Queen Street in August 2023.

Last year, Dariush Talagi pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder and was remanded in custody until trial, set to take place in June.

Tiari Boon-Harris was accused of helping Talagi avoid arrest.

After a search, police arrested Boon-Harris in October and during her first court appearance a month later she entered a not guilty plea through her lawyer.

Boon-Harris, who is pregnant, appeared at the Auckland High Court on Wednesday where she pleaded guilty.
