Three arrested for 'violent assault' at man's Taitā workplace

Three men have been arrested after the violent assault of a man at his workplace in Taitā.

The assault at the High Street address was reported about 5.20pm on 26 February.

Detective Inspector Nick Pritchard said the offenders attacked the man and then fled.

The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition but is now stable and recovering.

Pritchard said this was a targeted incident and there was no ongoing safety risk for the community.

A 26-year-old man is due to appear in the Hutt Vallery District Court on 14 March.

A 34-year-old man and a 35-year-old man will appear on 19 March.
