Sam Burt has a background in social science and a foreground in unfinished, crudely rendered graphic novels. In 2010 he completed an MA in Creative Writing at the International Institute of Modern Letters. He's currently co-writing an epistolary novella.

Earthlings Are Aliens Too, by Emma McGuirk
Emma McGuirk has a BA(Hons) in Anthropology from the University of Otago, and a background in ESOL teaching including two years in Osaka on the JET Programme. She has recently completed a full-time immersion Māori language course (Te Tohu Paetahi) at the University of Waikato. Emma returned to Otago this year, to begin a PhD in Anthropology looking at Time Banking in Aotearoa New Zealand. Earthlings Are Aliens Too is her first play for radio.

April Phillips is a stage and screen actress, singer, playwright and theatre producer. She has received awards for her stage plays STiFF, Blue Eyes and Bonking James Bond. She holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) from Victoria University, Wellington.

Land Grab NZ, by Maya Hammarsal
Maya Hammarsal immigrated to New Zealand in 2010 from Jersey, Channel Islands. Maya was known previously for her documentary film making - Man with the Seasons was shown at Reel Earth Film Festival, Palmerston North in 2010. Maya completed her Masters in Scriptwriting at the International Institute of Modern Letters, Victoria University and was awarded the 2010 David Carson-Parker Embassy Trust Scriptwriting Award for her historical screenplay Abandoned Islands. Land Grab NZ is her first play for radio.

Nathan came to drama through Greek and Roman plays while studying Classics. For several years he wrote short zombie and sci-fi films making them on a super low budget. In 2010, he completed a Masters in Screenwriting at the International Institute of Modern Letters, VUW.

Rebecca is in the final year of her scriptwriting degree at Whitireia Polytechnic. She is also a Film School graduate with the ultimate goal of becoming a writer/director. Rebecca is also in the stand-up comedy scene in Wellington. NZ 2020 is her first play for radio.
