Lavender Shortbread

Cream well, 225 grams of butter with 3/4 cup of castor sugar.

Then add sifted 2 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of cornflour, with a pinch of salt. Knead well and and 1 1/2 tablespoon of English lavender flowers.

Do not use French lavender!

Make a roll then Place in fridge for one hour. Preheat the oven to 160C. Cut the roll into slices and prick gently with a fork, then place the pieces on baking paper on a cold tray. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
