Peter Godfrey emigrated to NZ in 1958 and the list of choirs and organisations that benefitted from his vision, energy and leadership is a long one.
In recognition of his contribution to music, Peter received an MBE in 1978, a CBE in 1988, and was made Professor Emeritus at Auckland University in 1982. He received an Arts Foundation Icon Award in 2005.
In this feature, recorded to mark his 80th birthday, Peter Godfrey talks with Des Wilson and reflects on a lifetime of music-making.
