The Korean geomungo is a traditional 6-string fretted zither that dates back to the 4th century. It’s usually played solo, but today in Global Sounds we’ll hear a quartet of them. Geomungo Factory is a group of young Korean musicians who show that respecting tradition and embracing experimentation are not mutually exclusive concepts (Synnara)
