'Three Landscapes for Orchestra' is inspired by Aotearoa's ancient native forests and history, and the first movement, Frond, describes a scene from Leonie Holmes' childhood of wandering in deep, dark bush.
It was composed in 2004 and glistens with the composer's signature silvery timbres and distinctive atmospheric soundscapes.
