Uwe Grodd and Gracie Liu emerge gradually from the wings to play 'Whiplash' by the director of Karlheinz Company and Head of Composition at the School, Eve de Castro-Robinson.
She describes it as a “mini-choreography, an animated challenge between the players, with echoes of haka, the whip of the wind and trees, the lash of the rain, and the flung movement implied by the title.”
Recorded at the Karlheinz Company's concert in the Music Theatre, University of Auckland, 3 September 2017.
