Composer Natalie Hunt says, "Data Entry Groove was written while I was working as a Logistical Support Officer with talented graduates from a variety of fields.
It is a tongue in cheek salute to the jobs our day-personas endure, propped up by many "keep-cups" of tea, and day dreams."
The jazzy piece was commissioned by the New Zealand String Quartet with funding from Creative New Zealand and has been frequently performed by them.
