Realised in 1985 on the POD computer system at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver.
Rimmer was inspired to synthesise sounds based on real-world models: birds, insects, volcanic activity, crashing waves, and humming telephone wires.
The work was awarded the International Electroacoustic Studios Prize in 1986.
