William and his little helper putting the Christmas show together Photo: RNZ
William Dart, with a merry chuckle, has hauled a sack full of Christmas goodies into the studio for his favourite programme of the year.
New releases of seasonal songs have been a bit of a disappointment this year.
So, for local offerings, he's gone back a few years to songs from Jamoa Jam and The Radio Kings.
And overseas artists include The Giving Tree Band, Black Prairie, Gina Riley (of Kath & Kim fame), Paul McCartney with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Flor de Toloache, Esquivel, and Luther Vandross.
