New Zealand String Quartet tour
The NZSQ begin their Heartland tour of the country this weekend in Whanganui: 11 centres stretching the length of the country, from Waiheke Island to Invercargill. On the music stand – Gillian Whitehead and Gareth Farr, the work he wrote for the 21st anniversary of sister cities Wellington and Sydney. Listen to him talking about the work here:

Ross Harris is on a roll. Two premieres within a day of each other last week – and a whole heap of works on the boil.
