Long-time collaborators Ariana Tikao and Bob Bickerton have just released their first single, Auroko, through the Wellington artist-led label Oro Records.
The name of their duo is Muriwai.
Bob says, “With this particular project we’re bringing together the two ‘rivers’ of music: one is from a Celtic source, one is from a Māori source. They come together in a confluence – muriwai.”
