Composer Claire Cowan, winner of Best Classical Artist in the 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards, has had another success - and this time it's international.
She's been award First Prize in the Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition. The judging panel comprises international composers and music specialists, who provide feedback on the finalists work.
Claire talks with Bryan Crump about what entering the competition involved, and what winning it means to her.
