William Green was born in Christchurch and studied piano with Jean MacLachlan, and with Maurice Till at the University of Canterbury, graduating BMus/MA. He now lives in Auckland where he works as a pianist, teacher, arranger, composer and presenter.
Over the years, he's been interviewing centenarian musicians for a book on those who’ve played or sung for a living, and who’ve made it to three figures.
William talked with Bryan Crump about how the project came about.
