Sometimes, what you're looking for is not what you find. Bryan Crump was hoping to capture the sound of a Little Spotted Kiwi fossicking by the predator proof fence of Wellington's Zealandia Wildlife Sanctuary. But when he and his son went for an evening walk (with a recording device) they caught something even more magical; as the Kiwi by the fence scarpered, another began calling further off.
