RNZ Concert host Bryan Crump went down to the riverside to capture this week's Sonic Moment of Calm; that river being one of the loveliest in the central North Island; the Tongariro.
A mecca for trout fishers, and these days, families of Whio, the Blue Duck.
You won't hear either of those in this recording, but with the river sounding so lovely, you could easily imagine them.
