Dunedin composer Anthony Ritchie's latest opera 'This Other Eden' is based on Michelanne Foster's play of the same name, and centres on early New Zealand missionary Thomas Kendall and his interactions with Nga Puhi rangatira Hongi Hika. Conductor Tecwyn Evans and director Jacqueline Coates tell Eva about the upcoming production.
