The Sarjeant Gallery in Whanganui has been promised $10 million dollars for its major earthquake strengthening and redevelopment project from the Regional Culture and Heritage Fund. Director Greg Anderson describes how the neo classical building will be improved to enhance its beauty and make it practical.
