American Debbie Rosas is the CEO and founder of Nia, a sensory-based, movement practice that is designed especially to help those who are unable to move freely. Students of this practice include those with Parkinson's, arthritis, and autism. Debbie has been in the mind-body fitness industry since 1976 and aims to "heal the world one body at a time" through her method, an "anti-dote to no pain, no gain ethos of '80s aerobics", which is taught around the world by accredited trainers and in workshops.
