English organist Robert Costin is back in New Zealand, bringing with him a new album which reflects a lifetime of love for the instrument, and Bach. He’s recorded Bach’s well-tempered clavier, which was described by Gramophone as “magnificent” and an “invigorating and stimulation experience”. He explains where his love for Bach has come from, why he’s recorded and released the masterpiece, and what’s next.
