Rebel of the keys is a documentary about the extraordinary life of Polish pianist and composer André Tchaikowsky. Describing himself proudly as a Jewish Homosexual Communist, Tchaikowsky scorned the limelight, and sabotaged his own international performing career to compose. Writer, director, broadcaster and musicologist Anastasia Belina-Johnson discusses his journey from the Warsaw ghetto, to touring the world as the successor to Arthur Rubinstein.
