Mezzo Soprano Catrin Johnsson and pianist Rachel Fuller hit the road this Labour weekend with Voices NZ for three concerts to celebrate Spring and Love.
Catrin will read French poems to help translate the texts the choir is singing in the concert series Salut Printemps! in Wellington, Tauranga, and the Nelson Arts Festival.

The music skips from the better-known pieces of Debussy and Poulenc to romantic and rare chansons (French songs), that conductor Dr Karen Grylls believes hadn’t been performed in New Zealand before the sold-out premiere in Auckland last year.
There's also a quirky four-song cycle about a dromedary, a crayfish, a carp and a cat that will make you giggle.
