2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. A National Commemorative event by the Lutheran Church of New Zealand is being held in The Wellington Cathedral of St Paul to commemorate this revolution in religious practice. Lutheran cantor Rick Erickson conducts a Bach Cantata Vespers service with the Cathedral Choir, the Chiesa Ensemble and a host of top soloists. One of the works being performed is Bach’s Reformation Cantata.
