Renowned Australian pianist Simon Tedeschi returns to New Zealand to perform Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F major with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. He was last here in 2009, when he also played Gershwin and received a standing ovation. His appearance is part of the CSO’s all American programme For the Common Man with John Adams’ Short Ride in a Fast Machine, Copeland’s Symphony No. 3 and the Gershwin concerto.
