Women take centre stage for the Pop Up Globe’s third season, which starts on Thursday. Five plays – A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, The Comedy of Errors, Julius Caesar and Macbeth – will entertain the crowds over summer. Pop-up Globe CEO, artistic director and founder Dr Miles Gregory will direct a Midsummer’s Night’s Dream and The Comedy of Errors. Kiwi composer and musician Paul McLaney adds the score to Shakespeare this summer.
