But receiving the Arts Foundation Arts Icon medallion on Wednesday, she says, was truly remarkable. She speaks to Lynn Freeman about receiving the award.

Australian based ensemble The Ten Tenors are on the road in NZ, visiting 16 destinations up and down the country. The group, whose 2005 album Tenology went platinum, is bringing opera to the masses. The tenors, including Kiwi Cameron Barclay, popped into the Auckland studio to perform live and answer 10 quick questions with Upbeat’s Zoë George.
