Matariki starts this week; the appearance in the sky of a group of seven stars known as the Pleiades star cluster signals the start of Matariki. It’s a time to remember the dead and celebrate new beginnings. This week we mark this with focusing on classical music’s rising stars. Today it’s pianist Aimi Kobayashi and cellist Santiago Canon-Valencia.
