New Zealand Opera’s The Elixir of Love continues at Wellington’s Opera House.
NZO’s emerging young artist Natasha Wilson injects energy, sass and warmth into her role has Giannetta – a community leader in Donizetti’s comedic opera.
William Dart described her as a "delicious gold-digger" in the NZ Herald. Peter Hoar said she gave the audience a "rounded character and warm singing".

Natasha is on stage along side Pene Pati and Amina Edris. "They're an amazing couple to have as a couple on stage. they bounce of each other and off everybody else," she says. "we call connect with each other because we are all New Zealanders. We get that ... humour."
She's off to San Francisco, to study under the same teachers as Pati and Edris. Natasha head to the States later in the year to do a one year post-graduate diploma.
But before she goes she's competing in the Lexus Song Quest. "It's really exciting. it will be interest to see how we grow," she says of the competition.
Natasha performs in NZO's The Elixir of Love at the Opera House in Wellington until Saturday 30 June.
