The cello was named Germany’s instrument of the year for 2018. Throughout the week we're celebrating the instrument with different compositions featuring the cello. Today it's Beethoven’s Cello Sonata in A Op 69 performed by Daniel Müller-Schott and Angela Hewitt.
You can listen to a selection of RNZ recordings featuring the cello on our Music Alive Collections page.
